๐ก๏ธ Safety First | Inflatable Rental Safety Guidelines
At Bounce Time, safety is our top priority. We want every event to be fun, memorable, and safe for everyone involved. All of our inflatables are cleaned, inspected, and professionally installed before each rental to ensure proper operation and safe use.
In addition to our equipment inspections, we ask all customers to follow the safety guidelines below to help protect participants and ensure everyone has a great experience.
๐จ๐ฉ๐ง Adult Supervision Is Required
Adult supervision is absolutely essential whenever an inflatable is in use. A responsible adult should monitor participants at all times to help ensure safe operation.
The supervising adult should ensure that:
- Only the allowed number of participants are inside the inflatable
- Children of similar size and age play together
- Rough play or unsafe behavior is stopped immediately
- Participants follow the safety guidelines outlined in the rental agreement
The renter is responsible for ensuring these guidelines are followed throughout the duration of the rental.
๐ Participant Guidelines
To help prevent injuries and maintain safe operation of the inflatable equipment:
- Participants must be at least 3 years old and younger than 14 years old
- Do not allow larger or older children to jump with smaller children
- Shoes, eyeglasses, jewelry, toys, and sharp objects must be removed before entering the inflatable
- No flips, wrestling, roughhousing, or horseplay inside the inflatable
- Do not bounce against the walls or near the entrance area
Participants with neck, back, or other physical injuries, pregnant individuals, or anyone susceptible to injury from bouncing should not use inflatable equipment.
๐ฅ Capacity Guidelines
To maintain safe use of the equipment, please follow these capacity limits:
Bounce Houses & Combo Units
- Maximum 5 children at one time
- If children are ages 10–14, the limit is 3 participants
Inflatable Slides
- Maximum 2 participants at a time
- Our rule is: “one person on the stairs, one going down the slide.”
- Only one person may climb the ladder at a time
These limits help prevent collisions and reduce the risk of injury.
๐งผ Proper Use of Inflatable Equipment
To keep equipment safe and in good condition:
- No food, drinks, gum, confetti, silly string, or sprays inside the inflatable
- No pets allowed in or on the inflatable
- Do not hang from the netting or roof of the inflatable
- Do not attach or modify equipment in any way
Failure to follow these guidelines may result in cleaning or repair charges.
๐ง๏ธ Weather Safety
Inflatables should not be used during severe weather.
If any of the following conditions occur:
- Strong winds (15 mph or higher)
- Thunderstorms or lightning
- Severe weather conditions
All participants must exit the inflatable immediately, and the blower should be turned off and unplugged until conditions improve.
If the inflatable begins to lose air, participants should exit immediately through the entrance.
๐ Overnight Rentals
For overnight rentals, the following steps must be taken when the inflatable is not being used:
- Turn off the blower (ensure any water pools are empty first)
- Unplug the blower and extension cord
- Store the blower and cords in a location not accessible to children or unauthorized users
๐ Agreement & Safety Compliance
For the safety of all participants, customers must review and accept these safety guidelines along with the full Terms & Conditions before completing a reservation with Bounce Time.
By following these guidelines, we can help ensure every event is safe, fun, and stress-free for everyone involved.
